Seated Panel Pants and Shoulder Snap T-shirt Pattern Review

I was one of a few chosen to test for Fresh Stitch Patterns. I've never tested a pattern before and the process was really fun and neat. Kylie is so helpful and sweet and was willing to take criticism and make adjustments where needed. Humility can be lacking in the pattern writing community sometimes.

As a tester I received a copy of the finished pattern upon completion. all thoughts here are my own.

If your baby wears cloth diaper you know the struggle is real to find pants that fit over top. Most people size up but even that isn't enough sometimes.
There are a few patterns out for pants that fit over diapers but they seem intimidating if you're a novice sewer.
Enter the Seated Panel Pants!

Unlike other cloth diaper pants on the market the design of these is so easy to sew that anyone can make them! And don't think you need a serger either, because I made mine on a regular sewing machine.

To go with these pants Kylie had us test a shirt as well. It features a snap shoulder which I'll be honest was a bit confusing for me. But I figured it out and the top is just as cute as the bottoms.

If you make this top make sure to mark the center of your neckline and your neck binding and lines those up and you should be fine!

 Want to make your own?
The pattern is currently available as a set from
Fresh Stitch Patterns and will soon also be available as separates.

I'm planning to make outfits for some sweet kiddos for christmas. :)

Pattern ranges from peemie to 2T! And is on sale for a limited time!
